This is getting annoying please help, Yahoo Messenger has some kind of craziness?
So one of my friend messaged me this link. Of course I got curious and clicked it. Then a new window opened but nothing popped out. The next thing I realized people were messaging me asking what it is, even though I DIDN”T send that link to anyone. However it somehow automatically send it to all my friends without me doing anything. over and over again. So my friends are getting annoyed, and I explained that in my status. After a while I logged out and signed in again. It’s still there. I closed Yahoo Messenger but then it opend up on itself and sent that link to everybody again. So I restarted my computer, but it’s still there doing the same stuff.

It appears by clicking on that link first time your PC got infected with a trojan which is causing all these problems.
Follow these steps:
1. Download malwarebytes free version from malawarebytes.org.
2. Install it, update it & run the scan.
3. After the scan is complete follow the steps properly & remove all infections it finds.
4. Restart your PC,it should be fine now.
5. Also completely uninstall & re-install your Yahoo messenger.

Yes, you can use your HP Pavilion a310n PC to connect to internet with wireless. But you need the following:
1. First you should purchase a internet connection from an ISP.
2. You have to setup your PC to connect to your internet using wireless internet setup wizard.

Question: How to fix Hi Resolution Graphics display problem faced with Intel 845GV chip set?
Hi. I am using Intel 845GV Mainboard with 1GB DDR RAM & P4-1.66 GHz. The PC reboots immediately when I start Google earth ( or even after few minutes in FarmVille ). I have tried installing the drivers etc from net but no use.Can any one help me with a solution ?

1.Go to
http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb… & download the correct version(latest version) of the graphics card driver.
2.Unistall your current driver & reinstall the correct driver you downloaded.You should be able to set the required resolution.

If you are facing this error popup problem on your XP computer after upgrading to McAfee2010 version.Please follow the work around to disable the error until Mcafee provides you a permanent fix.
Add mcsvhost.exe to DEP exclusion list in XP:
Follow these steps:
1.. Click Start
2. Select Control Panel
3. Select System
4. Click the Advanced tab
5. In the Performance region select Settings
6. Click the Data Execute tab in the dialog box that opens
7. Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select
8. Click Add.
9. The open dialog box will open. Browse and select your application.
10. Click Open
11. Click Apply
12. Click Ok
13. Reboot
This will help you in stopping that annoying error while shutting down your computer.

Question:HELP! I cant open Realplayer!?
The title says it all. When I want to open Realplayer (I have the lastest version called, ‘Real SP’) it doesn’t load. It used to load before but now it doesn’t. I want to download a vid so I right-click on the video and then click on ‘Download to RealPlayer’ and then nothing loads. When I used to do this before, it used to download but now it doesn’t.
Ive tried un-installing via the control panel way (Control Panel > Programms > Programms and features) but it says, ‘Uninstaller component missing’.
I downloaded RealPlayer from the offical site. Should I delete every component it has via the original directory that I saved it in…

Completely uninstall your current real player including its folders & registry entries.
Restart the computer.
Download the Real player from their website which is compatible for Windows 7 & install.This will fix your problem.

My PC suddenly stopped running; it wouldn’t power up. I plugged in an old power supply and got it running, but the old supply was 100w less than the original and I couldn’t run all my drives and cards. So I bought a new power supply with enough wattage. But if I plug in the 4-pin P4 connector, the PC still won’t turn on. Unplug the P4 and everything receives power. Plug in the P4 and it won’t start. Any idea why? Why would the P4 connection work with an old power supply and not the new power supply?
Additional Details
The main power cable plugged into the motherboard without any modifications. I used the yellow & black 4-pin ATX +12V, not anything else. However, the new power supply came with an 8-pin yellow & black plug that separated into two 4-pin plugs. I used one of these and left the other unplugged.
The 8-pin yellow & black is an EPS connector that split in half. That’s what I plugged into the +12V P4 connector.

Many newer PSUs have a 24-pin main board power connector. If you are replacing the PSU on a system that uses a 20-pin motherboard connector, it can get a bit confusing at this point. Every quality PSU I have seen allows four of the pins on the 24-pin main power connector to be removed to be compatible with an older 20-pin motherboard. If your PSU does not have the ability to have four of the pins from the 24-pin main power connector removed, and your board requires 20-pin main power, you will either need to get a different PSU or a different motherboard to continue. Many newer PSUs also use an 8-pin power connector in addition to the 24-pin main power connector to supply the motherboard. Every PSU I have used offers an adapter to change the 8-pin main board power dongle to a 4-pin P4 power dongle. Be sure to use this if your board requires a 4-pin P4 connector and your PSU has the newer 8-pin connector built on. If you don’t plug in the additional 8-pin or 4-pin power connectors, your system will likely not boot up.

On my laptop What is a bootable device?
Can’t get my wife’s laptop to work this morning. Reports a problem with setup as no bootable device. Thr family has 3 laptops all working off the same wireless so I assume the problem is not there but with her unit. Instructions to insert boot disc. ???? Press any key.

I should have added that her computer is a small mini and we see no slot for any kind of disc. That you all for some very good answers. I’ve got a feeling this is over my head.

1.First get into your BIOS using F2 or F12 key(whichever according to your model) when starting the computer & check whether your hard disc is recognized & listed.
2.Check & make sure that in BIOS under boot sequence(or boot priority) your second boot device is listed as your hard disc.
If this is ok then you should not get error as no bootable devices found.If you still have the same problem follow next steps.I assume you have vista on your computer.
1.Boot with your vista disc & choose repair option & not install option.
2.If that also does not help if you are able to get to command prompt try using chkdsk /r command (note this will check your hard disc for errors when you restart the computer allow it to check)
3.If above does not fix the problem you have then put your vista disc in the dvd & then in command prompt enter Drive:\boot\Bootsect.exe /NT60 All (where Drive is the drive letter for your dvd drive) this should fix if there is any corruption your boot loader & fix your vista startup.
4.If none of this works then if you want to erase everything on your system & do clean install of your operating system.OR best do a full system recovery using the steps given in the manual for your model to bring back your system to the state how it was delivered.

Question: Why does the movie i downloaded has no sounds?
i downloaded a movie (princess protection program) in a direct link. first, i downloaded it in rapidshare (4 .rar parts) but when i extracted it, the video has no sounds. i tried to download from different servers (upload.com, hotfile, depositfile, easyshare etc.) but all the downloaded vids has no sound either. i checked my pc if its on mute including the player but its fine. WHAT’s WRONG? i really want to watch this movie badly. thanks. (btw i have DiVx as my codec)

Try playing a different sample video which is there in your video player program & see if it works fine.If it works fine,then the issue is
1.You don’t have a correct compatible video player program for the movie you downloaded. OR
2.You don’t have the proper audio codec in your system to play the audio track for that movie.If you download the suitable audio codec it should work fine.

Question: Does anybody know how to picture on my laptop?
I have my own laptop and I have a digital camera and I took some picture and I don’t know how to put the picture on my laptop

1.If your camera came with a USB chord to connect to the laptop,plug it in.It should show up under removable drive in My Computer.You can right click on that drive & click explore to see the files.Then you can copy & paste them to any folder on your laptop hard drive.
2.If your camera came with a software to install,install the software on to your laptop so that using that also you can do copy,edit etc etc.
